As part of our role at a leading global insurance company, we are responsible for developing and managing an application to onboard and oversee the company's sales partners, including agents and brokers. This application provides the users with a tailored, independent solution including a required multi-dimensional validity date concept for administration of all organizational and contractual sales force data to deliver structured information to many data consumers.To reinforce our dynamic development team, we are seeking a skilled Test Engineer. As a Test Engineer, you will collaborate with an international cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high quality software solution.

Location: Pune; Kerala or Chennai

Years of Experience: <10 years experience

Selenium and Playwright: 6+ years

• Review and understand business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify test objectives
• Design and document detailed test cases to cover functional, integration, and user scenarios
• Perform manual testing on various application features to ensure they meet specifications
• Report and document bugs clearly for developers, including steps to reproduce and screenshots
• Conduct unscripted tests to uncover edge cases and unexpected behaviors
• Identify affected areas of the application due to new changes or fixes
• Update and maintain existing test cases to align with changes in the application
• Document results, highlighting any regression issues and collaborating with developers to resolve them
• Work closely with developers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery
• Prepare comprehensive test plans, test reports, and other related documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB certification is appreciated
• Proven experience as a skilled Test Engineer. Experience in Insurance domain is appreciated.
• Strong experience with Selenium, Mockito, Jenkins and GitHub repository
• Experience with Test Automation, IntelliJ IDEA and Java 17 or newer
• Experience with Kubernetes, Cucumber, Spring Boot 3 would be appreciated.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
